High Protein Hot Chocolate

Base

  • I cup milk of choice (whole milk, soy milk, or barista almond)

  • 1/2 - 3/4 scoop protein powder (whey or plant-based)

  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder (Dutch-processed preferred)

  • Pinch of salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract.

Method

  • Put the milk, protein powder, Dutch cocoa powder, and salt into a Nespresso milk frother.

  • Run the HOT froth cycle

  • Once finished:

    • Add 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

    • Top with whipped cream
