High Protein Hot Chocolate
Base
I cup milk of choice (whole milk, soy milk, or barista almond)
1/2 - 3/4 scoop protein powder (whey or plant-based)
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder (Dutch-processed preferred)
Pinch of salt
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract.
Method
Put the milk, protein powder, Dutch cocoa powder, and salt into a Nespresso milk frother.
Run the HOT froth cycle
Once finished:
Add 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Top with whipped cream
